Going in take right then though security gate, this will open for you but sometimes you need to press the entry button.
Carry on straight down to the car park next to The Fenton Cafe and Grill. The cafe will open at 09.00hrs. Please don’t arrive too early. Coffee and butties are available on request. Please be patient as there is only a small number of staff.
I understand there is a Spitfire working the airport so we may be lucky and have an opportunity to see the old gal. Should you wish to take a trip you can book on line. It’s a bargain at £6000 an hour.
Something a bit different. If some of you would like to “Practise” your tulip reading skills i.e. not following others I can arrange to set folks off at 2 minute intervals.
In the event of getting lost I will include what 3 words on some tulips to enable joining on the correct route again.
The plan is to depart at 10.30 toilet stop at about 40 miles then on to finish at Brieghton Airfield were refreshments will be available and of course a bit of a natter. Brieghton has a much valued historic collection of aircraft that fly on a regular basis so finger crossed we may see some action.
